Overview

The Reinsurance Lead is responsible for managing and optimizing reinsurance strategies to mitigate risk and enhance financial stability, acting as a key point of contact for brokers and reinsurers.

• Lead the management of the Outwards Reinsurance program.
• Act as a principal point of contact for Reinsurance Brokers and Reinsurers.
• Identify and propose actions to improve reinsurance conditions.
• Engage with relevant departments to assess reinsurance requirements.
• Lead renewal and negotiation activities for reinsurance conditions.
• Support assessment of new reinsurance treaties.
• Manage operational issues and account queries.
• Maintain inventory of reinsurance treaties and conditions.
• Participate in relevant committees and report on reinsurer ratings.
• Assist in identifying potential risks related to reinsurance activities.

Requirements

• Demonstrable knowledge of Outwards Reinsurance.
• Strong experience in technical reinsurance operations.
• Relevant experience in developing and strengthening departments.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Strong knowledge of cross-border European insurance markets.
• Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.
• Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Able to analyze data and provide concise summaries.
• Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
