Claims Management Specialist - Remote

In Short

• This is a 6-month fixed-term contract based in our Paris office, with three days of telecommuting per week.
• Wakam aims to strengthen its bodily injury claims management activity.
• You will work autonomously in managing bodily injury claims IRCA and common law (AIPP between 0 and 10%).
• Responsibilities include registering claims, instructing files, and implementing necessary measures for victim compensation.
• Identify and apply relevant legal, jurisprudential, and conventional rules.
• Evaluate and monitor technical costs.
• Select auxiliaries (doctors, lawyers) and analyze conclusions.
• Finalize compensation for victims and/or third-party payers.
• Exercise bodily claims in accordance with the company's interests.
• Engage in a dynamic and scaling company environment.

Requirements

• Higher education in Insurance Law or equivalent, with 2 to 3 years of experience in bodily injury claims management.
• Good knowledge of the Badinter law and its jurisprudential evolution.
• Mastery of IRSA, IRCA, and PAOS conventions.
• English proficiency is a plus.
• Excellent writing skills, organizational sense, and rigor.
• Autonomy and responsibility in work.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
• Ability to handle various situations with relational qualities.
• Critical importance on quality follow-up of all files.
