QA Automation Engineer (Mid-Level) - Remote

Overview

As a QA Automation Engineer at WA.Technology, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through a balanced approach of manual and automated testing.

In Short

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements.
• Analyze functional and non-functional requirements to design and execute test cases.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Execute and analyze automated test suites, identifying defects.
• Perform manual testing for complex scenarios.
• Document and maintain test plans and reports.
• Advocate for testing best practices.
• Assist in root cause analysis and debugging.
• Support the transition from manual to automated testing.

Requirements

• 4+ years in QA, including 2+ years in test automation.
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Cucumber).
• Familiar with MySQL/MariaDB and REST API testing.
• Proficient in JavaScript or similar.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.
• Hands-on with Git, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using Jira, Xray, or similar tools.
• Performance testing knowledge (JMeter, K6) is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• iGaming industry experience is a plus.
