Mid QA Automation Engineer - Remote

Overview

Gorilla Logic is looking for a Mid QA Automation Engineer, who will work with a team of engineers building and testing our client’s web application. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.

In Short

• Define and implement test automation strategies, including tools, frameworks, and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective testing strategies.
• Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Perform both manual and automated test execution.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Refine acceptance criteria and perform requirements analysis.
• Provide feedback to development teams to improve quality.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium.
• Experience testing REST-based APIs and automating API tests.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Solid knowledge of performance and security testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Strong communication skills.
