Health Information, Privacy, and Security Manager - Remote

Overview

As the Health Information, Privacy, and Security Manager, you will be a key member of our Compliance team, responsible for overseeing the management and safeguarding of patient information. In this role, you will lead the development, implementation, and ongoing administration of Vynca's comprehensive strategy and operations related to health information management, privacy, and security.

• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive privacy and security strategies.
• Develop and manage a centralized program for medical record documentation.

• Conduct regular risk assessments for health information management systems.
• Oversee data protection programs to safeguard sensitive health information.
• Plan and execute auditing and monitoring activities for compliance.
• Create and enforce privacy and security policies and procedures.
• Manage medical record requests and amendments.
• Design and deliver training programs on compliance standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in healthcare privacy and security.
• Proven experience ensuring compliance with HIPAA and HITECH.
• Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations.
• Strong background in developing privacy and security programs.
• Proven track record in leading responses to privacy incidents.
• History of identifying compliance gaps and implementing corrective actions.
• Experience designing training programs related to health information compliance.
• Ability to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ability to provide updates to senior leadership on program effectiveness.
