Staff Software Engineer - Remote

The team is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to improve the experience of onboarding Partners and provide tools for managing the complete lifecycle of the customer journey.

In Short

• Contribute to the architecture of APIs and Backend services.
• Contribute to existing Backend Systems.
• Design and drive implementation of New Microservices.
• Assist with in-life maintenance, testing, debugging, and documentation of deployed services.
• Full Software Development Lifecycle from requirements to deployment and operation in production.
• Set high standards for secure, high quality, well-tested, and scalable systems.
• Mentor junior colleagues.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Java or Kotlin Development Experience (Spring Boot / Micronaut).
• Strong experience with Relational and NoSQL databases.
• Cloud experience (ideally AWS).
• Container orchestrator experience (Kubernetes and/or Nomad).
• Event-driven system knowledge using Kafka.
• Solution design experience with highly scalable systems.
• Ability to pick up new software, frameworks, and APIs quickly.
• Understanding of monitoring and systems provisioning.
• Strong focus on testing and security.
• Good communicator.
