Overview

The Occupational Therapist will join the CAPABLE team to support older adults in their homes through customized modifications, enhancing their independence and quality of life.

In Short

  • Full-time permanent position with VON.
  • Work schedule: Days, 75 hours bi-weekly.
  • Travel required within service areas (Kings County and Halifax).

Requirements

  • Masters in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
  • Valid registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of community resources preferred.
  • Ability to utilize technology for documentation.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
  • Willingness to travel regularly during the day.
  • Criminal Records Check required.
