Solutions Architect - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to design, develop, and optimize technical architectures in cloud environments, focusing on delivering cutting-edge software solutions in an agile environment.

In Short

• Develop and enhance technical architectures using cloud technologies, primarily in Amazon AWS environments.
• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of microservices architecture leveraging open-source Java technologies.
• Design and develop complex software systems in virtualized cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Apply agile software development practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Adaptable Software Design.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and other tools.
• Utilize containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and managing microservices.
• Integrate testing tools like SonarQube and JMeter to maintain software quality.
• Provide mentorship to development teams in adopting cloud best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
• AWS Certified Architect required.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in developing cloud-based architectures on AWS.
• Minimum 10 years of agile software development experience with microservices architecture using Java.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing complex systems in virtualized cloud environments.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and deploying microservices in cloud environments.
• Minimum 3 years of experience implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
