The Cloud Engineer will design, build, enhance and scale our microservices based cloud platform, enabling medical professionals to view and analyze data from wearable sensors for patient health care decisions.

In Short

Design and implement features to improve customer experiences.
Collaborate with user-facing teams to understand customer needs.
Create user interfaces backed by scalable and reliable backend systems.
Own problems end-to-end, considering user experience and operability.
Uphold high engineering standards and consistency in codebases.
Identify areas for improvement and advocate for best practices.
Work with engineers and leadership to turn vision into a roadmap.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS or equivalent experience.
3 - 8 years of cloud-oriented software development experience.
At least 3 years of experience in software engineering using Ruby on Rails.
Experience with microservices, Angular, ES6, Typescript, and RxJS.
Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
Generalist approach, working on both frontend and backend.
High standards for production systems.
Experience with API development and microservices architecture.
Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, Kafka.
Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Benefits

Competitive salary range of $165,000 to $185,000.
