Field Service Representative - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Representative (FSR) will support advanced ophthalmic and optical systems, providing on-site technical assistance and maintenance for Visionix products.

In Short

• Install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Visionix products.
• Deliver on-site troubleshooting and high-level technical support.
• Maintain service documentation and inventory.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Identify workflow improvements and potential sales opportunities.
• Mentor new FSRs during onboarding.
• Must be computer literate (Windows, MS Office).
• Willingness to travel extensively (80%+ travel required).
• Experience with optics or ophthalmic equipment is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in field service or technical support.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and IT troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Willingness to travel throughout the U.S.
• Training provided for optics experience.
