Clinical Application Specialist - Remote

Overview

Visionix USA, a leader in vision care innovation, is seeking a remote Clinical Application Specialist. This role interacts with both internal and external customers including physicians, practice personnel and internal sales and support personnel. The Clinical Applications Specialist is an experienced ophthalmic technician and clinical educator who travels frequently and always represents the company with the highest degree of professionalism.

In Short

• Assisting customers with the proper use of Visionix and Optovue products.
• Performing installations and training on various product lines.
• Providing high levels of customer service.
• Traveling to installation sites as per company policy.
• Training staff and doctors on machine usage.
• Understanding data structures and performing data transfers.
• Networking machines and installing ReVue Stations.
• Completing training paperwork in a timely manner.
• Supporting the sales team with clinical issues.
• Assisting in developing training materials.

Requirements

• A.S. Degree or clinical equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of technical clinical experience in optometry or ophthalmology.
• 2+ years as an ophthalmic Clinical Applications Specialist.
• JCAHPO - COA certification or higher required.
• Advanced knowledge of eye physiology and anatomy.
• Excellent presentation and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English (oral & written).
• Valid US Driver’s license and ability to travel.
