Staff Software Engineer - Data Platform - Remote

In Short

• Design and build event processing services and pipelines on AWS serverless.
• Write production-quality Golang and/or Python code with comprehensive testing.
• Own services end-to-end: development, deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
• Drive code quality through thorough code reviews and testing standards.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents independently.
• Design and implement CI/CD improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers through pairing and constructive feedback.
• Propose and implement improvements to platform resilience and performance.
• Participate in on-call rotations with full accountability.
• This is a remote position.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Be based in Brazil.
• Strong software engineering background building distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Golang and/or Python.
• Experience with modern streaming processing and cloud computing.
• Data platform tooling experience (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong SQL skills.
• Version control and CI/CD knowledge.
• Soft skills: clear communication and critical thinking.
• English proficiency: B2 or above.
