In Short

• Lead the design and evolution of the data platform with a focus on reliability, cost, and scale.
• Drive decisions on data stack and platform standards across teams.
• Build and optimize high-performance data services and pipelines for large-scale workloads.
• Own production operations for file- and event-based systems, including monitoring and incident response.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and code reviews.
• Collaborate with partner teams and customers to deliver data products end to end.
• Reduce technical debt and simplify systems with clean interfaces.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background building distributed systems at scale.
• Proficiency in Golang or Python.
• Deep experience with modern streaming processing technologies.
• Cloud computing skills, preferably AWS.
• Experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Airflow.
• Observability and SRE mindset.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with versioning and CI/CD processes.
• Fluent in English (B2 level or above).
