Overview

The Strategic Quality Engineering Manager at Virtru will lead a unified organization of both manual QA and automation professionals, focusing on building a proactive quality culture.

In Short

• Manage and mentor QA and SDET teams.
• Define and own the quality vision and strategy.
• Establish key metrics for product quality.
• Partner with Engineering and Product leadership.
• Contribute to architectural design of test automation frameworks.
• Lead cross-functional post-mortems for quality failures.
• Hands-on experience with various testing methodologies.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks.
• Drive the selection of testing tools and infrastructure.
• Build a high-performing quality organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in testing applications.
• Hands-on automation expertise in functional, performance, and security testing.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Go, Java, C++, C#.
• Hands-on experience with REST API and CLI testing.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
• Ability to collaborate and adapt to shifting priorities.
