Quality Engineering Manager - Remote

Within the Customers organization, we put our Drivers and Riders at the forefront of everything we do. In order to fulfill our customer obsession we are looking for the leader who can set our Quality Assurance and Test Automation strategies and build and support the teams to achieve them. You will work in partnership with developers, designers, product managers, and other engineering managers to establish processes and best practices that ensure we’re shipping high quality products that serve our customers.

In Short

• Manage a growing team of Quality Assurance Engineers and Software Engineers in Test.
• Own the long term vision and roadmap for Quality within the Customers organization.
• Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of team members.
• Inspire a culture of quality across the organization.
• Manage QAE/Test Automation Teams Capacity and priorities.
• Operate effectively across multiple teams with high-level direction.
• Grow the team by identifying and hiring diverse talent.
• Define procedures for Testware management.
• Serve as an escalation point for risks during test execution.
• Establish and monitor quality metrics to measure QA effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or 10+ years of experience in software development and testing.
• 4+ years of experience in people management.
• Experience in managing test strategies and plans.
• Experience defining test automation strategies.
• Experience with QA & Testing training programs.
• Understanding of mobile and web platforms.
• Deep understanding of software development models (Agile, V-Model, etc.).
• Experience prioritizing work across multiple product teams.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps.
• Excellent English communication skills.
