Associate Finance Manager - Remote

Overview

The Associate Finance Manager will join our Finance Team to take on responsibilities in finance processes and operations, working closely with management and the finance and operations team to shape the future of VIDA.

In Short

• Manage existing finance processes including invoicing, payment runs, cash management, and reporting.
• Identify improvement potentials in finance and independently develop processes.
• Create financial analyses, forecasts, and reports for management and investors.
• Support monthly and annual closings with external accountants.
• Assist in budget planning and strategic issues.
• Proactively identify financial risks and implement measures for financial stability.
• Manage communication with external stakeholders such as tax advisors and investors.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Initial professional experience in a finance role, ideally in a startup environment.
• Strong finance knowledge and experience with accounting, tax, and reporting processes.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and familiarity with finance tools like DATEV or Moss.
• Willingness to take responsibility and a hands-on mentality.
• Structured and analytical thinking with the ability to identify and address problems early.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Bonus: Living near Munich or willingness to relocate.
