Overview

As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer at Vida, you will strengthen the security, resilience, and reliability of our cloud-based healthcare platform, working at the intersection of security, cloud infrastructure, and automation.

In Short

• Own the security posture of Vida’s cloud infrastructure.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform for GCP.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks.
• Oversee vulnerability management and automated remediation workflows.
• Embed security controls within CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments.
• Manage container security in Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with compliance teams for security certifications.
• Lead incident response and postmortem analysis.
• Mentor engineers on secure development practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Security Engineering.
• Strong expertise with GCP or another major public cloud.
• Experience managing infrastructure via Terraform.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes security best practices.
• Experience securing CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with application and dependency scanning tools.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash scripting.
• Experience with Zero Trust and network segmentation.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability platforms.
