Senior DevSecOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our team as a trusted advisor and direct contributor focused on security design and review across our SaaS platform and company infrastructure.

In Short

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and security audits.
• Monitor systems for security threats using SIEM tools.
• Lead security incident response efforts.
• Review and approve code for secure development practices.
• Evaluate and provide security recommendations for system architecture changes.
• Secure cloud deployments and manage access controls.
• Provide recommendations for security strategy and policy development.
• Support SOC 2 Type II audits and maintain security policies.
• Educate team members on security best practices.
• Work closely with engineering and operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering.
• Expertise in secure software development and risk assessment.
• Deep knowledge of network and application layer attack patterns.
• Coding skills in Node, TypeScript/React, Python.
• Experience with AWS, Heroku, Netlify, and Snowflake.
• Proven track record with SOC 2 or similar compliance frameworks.
• Experience in startup or high-growth environments preferred.
• Cloud security certifications are a plus.
