Overview

The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for building relationships with customers, managing sales in the territory, and educating clients about the company’s products.

In Short

  • Lead outside sales efforts in the assigned territory.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, and project owners.
  • Understand and educate customers on Victaulic’s products and solutions.
  • Work with the Regional Sales Manager to develop business plans.
  • Conduct training and presentations for customers.
  • Manage a balanced distribution network with Victaulic distributors.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Be self-motivated and willing to travel as needed.
  • Participate in local trade organizations and professional associations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous sales experience, preferably in commercial construction or related fields.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility and resiliency in a sales environment.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to various weather conditions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Team player with the ability to coordinate with various teams.
