Overview

As a Backend Developer at Viber, you will be involved in developing and maintaining high-traffic applications, ensuring the fast and reliable operation of our platform.

In Short

• Develop and maintain Java high-availability applications.
• Plan, design, and define application objectives.
• Ensure application designs conform with business goals.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in server-side development using Java.
• Advanced knowledge of Java frameworks and libraries.
• Experience in Async and/or reactive Java frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with C++.
• Experience with large scale NoSQL databases.
• Experience with microservices development using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Higher technical education.
