Overview

This role involves extensive travel and requires candidates to identify and work with end user opportunities, drive interest with channel partners, and onboard new partners.

In Short

  • Sell software architecture to new and current customers.
  • Contact prospective customers to determine needs.
  • Prospect and develop business to achieve quota.
  • Respond to RFPs and develop proposals.
  • Coordinate account resources with marketing and sales teams.
  • Maintain knowledge of Versa’s portfolio.
  • Responsible for pre-sales functions.
  • Maintain sales records and prepare reports.
  • Provide follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Understand competition and business climate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training required.
  • Minimum of 10 years in high tech sales.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently.
  • Proven ability to overcome barriers.
  • Experience in creating collaborative teams.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Integrity and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to prospect and qualify accounts.
