Regulatory and Compliance Finance Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Regulatory and Compliance Finance Specialist plays a critical role in mitigating regulatory, tax, payroll, and compliance risk for Vero Broadband, LLC (VB) and in supporting regulatory oversight across the broader Vero Fiber organization.

• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate regulatory, payroll, and tax compliance risks.
• Reduce exposure to penalties and audit findings through disciplined controls.
• Strengthen audit readiness with well-supported regulatory positions.
• Partner cross-functionally to prevent non-compliant billing and payroll processing.
• Provide early visibility into compliance risks impacting EBITDA and cash flow.
• Own federal, state, and local telecom regulatory compliance.
• Serve as the primary finance contact for USAC, FCC, and state commissions.
• Support payroll administration and compliance for Vero Broadband.
• Oversee telecom sales and use tax filings.
• Lead finance-side support for regulatory audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in telecom regulatory, tax, payroll, or compliance roles.
• Strong knowledge of USAC/FCC reporting and telecom tax compliance.
• Experience managing external advisors.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
