Overview

The Client Success Director (CSD) leads a Client Success team within Verndale's Salesforce practice, managing high-value accounts and ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

In Short

  • Manage a portfolio of 5–10 accounts with a focus on renewals and expansions.
  • Lead a Client Success team responsible for 10-15 accounts per CSM.
  • Act as the senior relationship owner for strategic accounts.
  • Develop and maintain Client Success Plans.
  • Align with Practice Managing Directors on revenue and client satisfaction.
  • Set performance targets for renewals and satisfaction.
  • Support CSMs in account planning and management.
  • Drive operational excellence in Client Success processes.
  • Collaborate with Client Partners for seamless account transitions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years in account management or client success, with 3 years in leadership.
  • Experience with the Salesforce platform ecosystem.
  • Proven track record managing a $5M+ portfolio.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Commercial acumen in managing contracts and profitability.
  • Experience in professional services environments.
