Customize and extend the functionality of Liferay portal according to project requirements.
Integrate Liferay with other systems and applications as needed.
Implement and optimize cloud-based solutions to enhance performance and scalability.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in Java development, Liferay, and cloud computing.

Requirements

The incumbent should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development, and Liferay portal development.
Proven track record of successful projects involving Liferay portal development.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
Proficiency in Spring Framework, Hibernate, and other relevant technologies.
Experience with web services protocols such as RESTful and SOAP.
Familiarity with front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
