Senior Liferay Portal Developer - Remote

Overview

We are hiring a Senior Liferay Portal Developer to be located anywhere in Canada or the US to join our growing company for a 6-12 month Contract (remote) employment. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering high-performance and responsive web applications using Liferay and Java/J2EE technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience developing applications on Liferay DXP 7.2 or newer.
• Familiarity with Modern Liferay Application Development approaches.
• Expertise in Liferay, Java/J2EE application design, and development.
• Familiarity with OSGI framework and MVC design patterns.
• Experience implementing Web services and service/System Integrations.
• Strong Web UI development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Working knowledge of advanced front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Experience integrating Liferay with external applications.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
