Staff Security Operations Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Staff Security Operations Engineer to join our Security team at Vercel. In this role, you will manage Vercel’s internal Corporate Security posture, monitor for security anomalies, and ensure the overall security of our internal systems.

In Short

• Monitor and respond to security alerts across multiple channels.
• Maintain visibility and logging infrastructure for effective SIEM operations.
• Support security audits for compliance frameworks.
• Enhance security operations by developing new detections and security tooling.
• Work on security investigations and incidents.
• Manage and enhance email and endpoint security posture.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in security operations and SIEM management.
• Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure and cloud security best practices.
• Experience with GitHub administration and security controls.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with incident response.
• Strong endpoint management skills across multiple OS.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language and one compiled language.
