Senior Community Engineer - Remote

Overview

Vercel is looking for a Senior Community Engineer who will be responsible for interacting directly with our customers in the Vercel Community, helping them to succeed and fostering best practice knowledge sharing.

In Short

• Represent Vercel across key communities, primarily in official forums.
• Build relationships with customers to help them succeed.
• Provide code-level assistance and debug issues with customers.
• Collaborate with Product teams using customer feedback for platform improvements.
• Create examples and patterns for achieving various goals using Vercel.
• Learn a wide array of frontend technologies.
• Develop expertise on existing and new Vercel platform features.
• Complete engineering tasks to enhance forum infrastructure and customer experience.

• Foundational knowledge of various frontend frameworks.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas simply.

• Experience in public communication.
• Enjoy working with JavaScript & React; open source contributor.
• Exceptional public-facing communication skills.
• Enjoy working with a fully remote, globally distributed team.
• 2+ years experience in a technical customer-facing or documentation role.
