Overview

The Sales Engineer at Vercel will leverage their technical knowledge and persuasive sales skills to support the sales team and engage with enterprise prospects, ensuring they understand the value of Vercel's platform.

In Short

  • Provide technical support to the sales team, prospects, and customers throughout the entire sales cycle.
  • Be the expert in Vercel's platform, solutions, and services.
  • Develop and present demonstrations of Vercel solutions.
  • Manage and run PoCs, guiding measures of success.
  • Respond to Security Documents and RFPs.
  • Interface with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Expertise in deploying Next.js or React.js applications.
  • Strong understanding of internet technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales or consulting role.
  • Passion for helping people understand technology.

Requirements

  • Experience with Next.js and Kubernetes.
  • Strong technical skills from software development or pre-sales experience.
  • Knowledge of enterprise network architecture and security best practices.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Experience with load and performance testing for enterprise web applications.
  • Understanding of Headless CMS, Media, payments, eCommerce, Analytics.
  • Ability to create and develop custom demos.
  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Bonus: Cloud Solutions Architect Certifications.
