Privacy Program Manager - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Privacy Program Manager to join our Legal team at Vercel. You will develop strategies around global regulatory and privacy compliance, partner closely with teams across Vercel to navigate complex privacy matters, and own and enhance processes to help privacy scale efficiently and effectively.

In Short

• Build, mature, scale, and maintain Privacy programs across company-wide workstreams.
• Serve as an ambassador of our privacy program through training and documentation.
• Manage privacy operations tool for data subject requests.
• Develop compliance solutions for organizational problems related to data privacy.
• Drive cross-functional privacy projects with various teams.
• Optimize privacy program metrics and provide reporting.
• Provide clear advice on day-to-day privacy operations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in privacy program management.
• Subject Matter Expertise in Privacy and knowledge of regulations like GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
• Privacy Operations Expertise with experience in privacy tooling.
• Strong project management skills with a pragmatic approach.
• Empathetic communication skills to engage with various stakeholders.
• Team player with a focus on collaboration.
• Proven track record of taking initiative and handling multiple projects.
