In Short

• Lead and scale global accounting function.
• Responsible for payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, and SEC reporting.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.
• Drive systems and process improvements in accounting.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and external auditors.
• Manage relationships with external partners and advisors.
• Identify risks and opportunities as the business evolves.
• Establish and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Oversee stock administration and equity accounting.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.
• Proven experience overseeing payroll, AP, AR, and general accounting.
• Strong understanding of equity and stock-based compensation accounting.
• Experience driving systems implementations and process improvements.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• High degree of integrity and attention to detail.
• CPA required.
• Experience in biotech or highly regulated industries preferred.
• Background in SOX implementation or optimization.
