Technical Sales Manager, Pharmaceuticals - Remote

Overview

This position will promote, expand, maintain and implement all sales aspects of our Pharmaceutical equipment and technologies.

In Short

• Accountability for overall performance of sales activities and customer satisfaction in assigned territory.
• Implement the pharmaceutical groups sales strategy and identify any territorial modifications needed.
• Prepare and properly maintain monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts using CRM.
• Provide in-person forecast updates during sales meetings and other company functions.
• Achieve or exceed the annual bookings target.
• Qualify all proposal opportunities and articulate the required response.
• Timely follow-up of all sales leads with quarterly reporting.
• Technical and commercial presentations to engineers and end users.
• Develop and expand new business opportunities.
• Support proposal and bid generation with the pharmaceutical service team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience selling equipment and technologies into the pharmaceutical market.
• Bachelor of Science Degree is required.
• Experience selling water for injection and wastewater equipment is a plus.
• High degree of understanding of water treatment regulations in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Travel will be approximately 40%.
