Overview

Velocity Global is seeking a strategic People Business Partner (PBP) to support employees and leaders across the Americas region, focusing on LATAM markets, particularly Colombia and Brazil. This role emphasizes collaboration, compliance with local labor laws, and alignment with business goals.

In Short

• Partner with leaders across various functions to support organizational development.
• Serve as the primary contact for People support in Colombia and Brazil.
• Guide leaders in managing performance conversations and employee development.
• Handle complex employee relations issues and ensure compliance.
• Support workforce changes while ensuring documentation compliance.
• Collaborate with People Operations and Legal on labor law adherence.
• Coach managers on employee engagement and conflict resolution.
• Lead or contribute to People projects and initiatives.
• Promote a positive employee experience throughout the lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of HR/People Business Partner experience in global organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Colombian and Brazilian labor laws.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese preferred.
• Experience supporting technical teams across LATAM.
• Ability to collaborate with legal counsel on investigations.
• Proven success in employee relations and performance management.
• Strong coaching and interpersonal communication skills.
• Able to work independently with remote teams.
