Overview

The Director of Tax at Velocity Global will lead the Tax Department, focusing on tax provision and compliance for a multinational consolidated group.

In Short

• Lead tax provision preparation and reporting.
• Review and prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions.
• Oversee preparation of federal and state tax workpapers and returns.
• Manage U.S. and Canadian sales and use tax compliance.
• Prepare tax provision forecasts and cash flow analysis.
• Assist with transfer pricing documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to tax team members.
• Conduct technical research on tax issues.
• Collaborate with CFO and CAO on tax projects.

Requirements

• BS in Accounting or related field; MS in Taxation preferred.
• Progressive corporate tax experience in multinational settings.
• Knowledge of Thomson Reuters OneSource and Excel.
• Up-to-date knowledge of tax law changes.
• Understanding of multinational tax laws.
• Excellent analytical and detail-oriented skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Leadership skills to enhance teamwork.
