Overview

The Benefits Partner – Leave Administration and Wellness Programs position adds value to Velera through the analysis, administration, and communication of all employee Leaves and wellbeing programs.

In Short

  • Supports leave of absences, paid time off plans, and wellbeing programs.
  • Maintains employee leave and accommodation requests.
  • Performs biweekly data audits for benefits accuracy.
  • Assists with annual benefit renewal and enrollment processes.
  • Tracks leave of absence cases and maintains documentation.
  • Consults with employees on benefits inquiries.
  • Oversees tuition reimbursement processes.
  • Creates educational materials on wellbeing programs.
  • Stays updated on HR regulations and practices.
  • Supports the Benefits and Wellbeing Team in various initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3 years experience in Benefits or 5+ years in HR.
  • 3+ years experience in leave of absence administration.
  • Strong understanding of Leaves compliance (FMLA, ADA).
  • Workday experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Word and Excel.
  • Certified in Leaves Management preferred.
