Overview

As a Technical Operations Manager at Veeva Systems, you will lead the management of the production cloud environment, ensuring the availability and success of Veeva applications for a global customer base.

In Short

• Own Veeva’s production cloud environment and ensure its availability.
• Perform systems management responsibilities including monitoring, backup, and security.
• Manage the team’s ticket backlog and facilitate incident resolution.
• Motivate and develop team collaboration and cross-training opportunities.
• Provide training to develop expertise within the team.
• Document new infrastructure and incident resolutions effectively.
• Balance workload among team members and execute tasks as needed.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex problems hands-on.

Requirements

• Experience managing enterprise-class applications and systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of management experience in Technical and Linux Systems Operations.
• Ability to work in a systems development environment with changing priorities.
• Experience in project management involving application evaluation and upgrades.
• Experience in hiring, supervising, and performance management.
