Overview

The Client Services Director position will be focused on selling Engineering Design Services. This role will require business development skills and the ability to sell engineering services. As part of this role, you will be expected to develop long-term strategic relationships with new clients.

In Short

  • Develop listings, contacts, and cold calling to penetrate key market segments.
  • Meet with potential and existing clients to understand their challenges.
  • Develop solutions through a consulting sales process with internal teams and clients.
  • Formulate and develop value propositions for award-winning proposals.
  • Negotiate and close business that supports the organization's sales goals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, peers, and management.
  • Support trade shows and marketing activities that grow the sales pipeline.
  • Analyze marketing and technology trends affecting our verticals.
  • Maintain the pipeline using our CRM tool.

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in business development and sales roles supporting engineering design services.
  • Solution selling experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Solid understanding of engineering disciplines across a wide range of business.
  • Ability to read and interpret client requirements and technical specifications.
  • Proven track record in the development and closure of sales contracts.
  • Superb persuasion and communication skills.
  • Outstanding writing and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with offshore delivery teams is preferred.
  • High energy, strong work ethic, and self-starter.
