Senior Construction Cost Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Senior Construction Cost Analyst will play a crucial role in maintaining the construction accounting database and reporting suite, collaborating with various teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and oversight.

In Short

• Maintain and improve construction accounting database and reporting suite.
• Ensure actual construction costs align with forecasts.
• Provide technical accounting expertise on Fixed Assets and Leases.
• Manage data inputs between Yardi and Procore.
• Support month-end and forecasting processes.
• Conduct physical inventory counts of fixed assets.
• Advise senior management on financial trends.
• Work closely with Finance, Design, and Construction teams.
• Handle additional duties as assigned by management.
• Promote a culture of cooperation within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in construction or real estate.
• Advanced knowledge of construction cost accounting.
• Knowledge of GAAP preferred.
• Proficient in Windows and Office 365.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Organized with the ability to handle multiple projects.
• Ability to respond to critical issues efficiently.
• Travel may be required up to 10%.
