Senior Construction Cost Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Senior Construction Cost Analyst will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the construction accounting database, reporting suite, and controls, working closely with the Finance and Construction teams.

In Short

• Manage project cost reporting and ensure alignment with forecasts.
• Support Construction Administration of contracts.
• Provide technical accounting expertise on Fixed Assets and Leases.
• Manage data inputs between Yardi and Procore.
• Review CAPEX invoices and progress billing entries.
• Maintain various KPI schedules and databases for accurate reporting.
• Support month-end and forecasting processes.
• Conduct physical inventory counts of fixed assets.
• Advise senior management on financial performance trends.
• Promote a strong culture of cooperation within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in construction or real estate.
• Advanced knowledge of construction cost accounting required.
• Knowledge of GAAP preferred.
• Proficient in Windows and Office 365 environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Excellent leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Master’s degree or professional certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Yardi and Procore is a plus.
