Strategic Finance Manager, Marketing - Remote

Overview

As a Strategic Finance Manager, Marketing at Vanta, you will be a financial liaison between the Strategic Finance team and marketing functions at the company. You will provide strategic guidance, complete various projects related to investments across marketing activities, and budgeting/forecasting for the organization.

In Short

• Cross-functional collaboration with Demand & Growth, Corporate Marketing, and Accounting teams.
• Lead financial efforts and provide insights on marketing spend and KPI reporting.
• Manage marketing headcount and departmental costs.
• Serve as the Finance approver on marketing spend deployment.
• Prepare recommendations on incremental investment opportunities.
• Oversee the annual operating plan and long-range planning processes.
• Utilize data and frameworks for critical thinking and new perspectives.
• Manifest leadership and expand the team’s reach into strategic support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or investment banking.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs.
• Strong analytical thinking and project management skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
• Self-starter with a builder mindset and passion for scalable solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or equivalent; Master’s degree is a plus.
