Overview

The Global Payroll Lead will own and execute Vanta’s end-to-end payroll operations across the US and multiple international markets, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and scalability as the company grows.

In Short

• Own and execute end-to-end global payroll operations in the US and across multiple countries.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for smooth payroll operations.
• Maintain understanding of local tax, social security, and labor laws.
• Drive payroll calendar adherence and ensure critical deadlines are met.
• Review payroll inputs and outputs for accuracy.
• Partner with Accounting for month-end and year-end reconciliation.
• Lead continuous improvement projects for payroll processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of payroll experience managing multi-country payrolls.
• Deep knowledge of global payroll compliance and taxation.
• Experience with third-party payroll providers and internal systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
