In Short

• Lead a data platform engineering team specializing in data pipelines, warehousing, and APIs.
• Design and build scalable and reliable data solutions for internal developers.
• Identify opportunities to improve developer experience and time-to-market.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams.
• Develop and lead a strong cross-functional team.
• Ensure effective communication and teamwork.
• Deliver scalable and reliable platform solutions.
• Handle sensitive data with high ethical standards.
• Willingness to travel for team syncs approximately 4 weeks per year.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in leading platform engineering teams.
• 10+ years of experience as a backend, data, or search engineer.
• Strong technical expertise in building ETL pipelines and designing APIs.
• Ability to deliver reliable platform solutions over diverse data types.
• High ethical standards for handling sensitive data.
• Excellent communication skills and project ownership.
• Proficiency coding with Python and TypeScript.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud services.
• Strong team-building skills.
