Finance Business Partner/Financial Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are hiring at Valsoft for a dynamic and highly self-motivated Finance Business Partner/Financial Analyst to join our growing team in Ireland!

In Short

• Preparation and review of financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets for each division.
• Ensure that all financial information is accurate, consistent, and compliant with accounting principles and relevant regulations.
• Participation in the completion of audit engagements and compliance requirements, including the IFRS transition.
• Completion of annual statutory audit and Ireland financial compliance is a necessity.
• Month-end entries and allocations: GL reconciliations, journal entry booking, and salary/department cost allocations.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, comparing actual performance vs. budget and providing variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Collaborate with department heads to gather data, track KPIs, and deliver financial insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA highly preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in accounting or finance (Big 4 experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (Dutch GAAP and IFRS).
• Proficiency in both written and verbal English and Dutch is essential.
