Overview

Revvity is seeking a talented Back-End Software Engineer (Java, Vert.x) to join our Signals Software Team and help develop our next-generation cloud-based notebook application, focusing on back-end design and development.

In Short

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define priorities and specifications.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Develop and maintain secure, high-performance interfaces and services.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience required.
• Experience with Java programming and building Web Services.
• Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
• Experience with Reactive Programming and CI/CD practices.
• Strong teamwork orientation and commitment to quality results.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Java programming.
• 2+ years of experience building Web Services and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with JDBC and relational database management systems.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization for database queries.
• Experience with structured software development methodologies.

• Excellent work ethic and commitment to delivering quality results.
