Capital Project Controls Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Capital Project Controls Engineer will be responsible for managing and reporting on the corporate Engineering Capital Plan, ensuring compliance with project governance and financial requirements.

• Manage the corporate Engineering Capital Plan.
• Develop and implement capital project estimating standards.
• Administer the Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management system.
• Coordinate capital project budget planning with Finance.
• Report monthly on capital portfolio performance.
• Manage the capital project approval process.
• Ensure compliance with project governance requirements.
• Maintain standard forms and templates for project reviews.
• Collaborate with business and engineering leaders.
• Drive results while navigating ambiguity.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree and 6 years of project controls experience, or
• Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of project controls experience, or
• High School Diploma/GED and 12 years of project controls experience.
• Experience in capital project estimating and cost controls.
• Proven ability to influence and negotiate across levels.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to operate at strategic and operational levels.
• Experience with Power BI and data visualization.
