Staff Data Analyst - Servicing Analytics - Remote

Overview

As a Staff Data Analyst on Upstart’s Servicing Analytics team, you will influence Upstart’s success by providing analytical capabilities to support servicing initiatives and drive operational efficiency.

In Short

• Lead the development of analytical capabilities for servicing initiatives.
• Create executive level presentations to communicate findings.
• Design experiments and conduct quantitative analysis.
• Collaborate with analytics engineering and software engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain business intelligence tools.
• Mentor junior team members in data and analytics.
• Work with key stakeholders to drive insights and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities via business reviews and product experiments.
• Drive efficiency improvements in recoveries and collections strategy.
• Contribute to the enhancement of data infrastructure.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in analytical roles in technology and finance.
• Strong background in credit, product, or operations analytics.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, and/or R.
• Experience with large datasets and data modeling.
• Degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Data Science.
• Exceptional analytical storytelling skills.
• Experience in conducting and evaluating A/B tests.
• Knowledge of consumer lending and post origination servicing.
• Ability to influence decision-making at the executive level.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
