Mid-to-Senior Asterisk Developer - Remote

Overview

As a Mid-to-Senior Asterisk Developer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our client's platform by developing new features and optimizing performance.

In Short

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement code enhancements.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code using Laravel and MySQL.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform debugging, and optimize code for scalability.
• Develop data-driven reports using jQuery, SQL, and visualization tools.
• Assist technical support when issues require in-depth troubleshooting.
• Occasionally communicate with customers to clarify new feature requests.
• Document processes, write reusable code, and ensure security best practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of telephony system administration and development experience with Asterisk.
• 2+ years of experience with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, or other distributions).
• Hands-on experience in creating and managing IVRs and dial plans within Asterisk.
• Experience in SaaS, CaaS, or hosted telephony environments.
• Some experience with AWS, Git, and Docker is a bonus.
• Some programming skills in AGI scripting PHP is a bonus.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MySQL and database optimization.
