Overview

As a Staff Solutions Engineer (SE) at Upbound, you will be a vital part of our pre-sales team, supporting all pre-sales efforts in the EMEA region across multiple segments.

In Short

• Partner with Sales Account Executive to engage in technical discussions with customers.
• Create and deliver high fidelity presentations and custom demos.
• Help customers design, build and implement Crossplane and Upbound Cloud architectures.
• Define, implement, and test early proof of concepts.
• Collect customer requirements for accurate implementation services estimation.
• Act as the technical voice and trusted advisor to customers.
• Manage accounts pre and post-sale for a smooth customer experience.

Requirements

• Experience in pre-sales, consulting, or equivalent in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to develop relationships with engineering and executive teams.
• Experience guiding customers in deploying Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of cloud services and infrastructure.
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Understanding of operational and application delivery tools.
• Ability to work closely with diverse teams.
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
