Overview

Upbound is hiring a Customer Success Account Manager to own the post-sale relationship for our Commercial segment. This is a high-energy, relationship-first role for someone who is motivated to protect and grow revenue while genuinely helping customers succeed with Crossplane-powered infrastructure.

In Short

  • Own the post-sale relationship for Commercial accounts.
  • Proactively manage renewals and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Build and maintain accurate renewal forecasts and health signals.
  • Develop genuine, trusted relationships across accounts.
  • Act as the customer's advocate within Upbound.
  • Stay curious about Crossplane and the infrastructure platform space.
  • Partner with Solution Architects to understand implementation status.
  • Champion Upbound's product vision with customers.
  • Identify underutilizing customers and build action plans.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in Customer Success or Account Management.
  • Proven track record of owning renewals and expansions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Commercially aggressive mindset for identifying opportunities.
  • Genuine technical curiosity about new technologies.
  • Strong communication skills for various interactions.
  • Some SDR or outbound experience is beneficial.
