Overview

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for producing general nuclear medicine and PET/CT images for medical interpretation and administering therapeutic radioactive isotopes, ensuring high-quality patient care.

  • Follows procedure protocols and relays instructions to patients.
  • Acquires and processes images while ensuring quality.
  • Interacts with patients and family members throughout procedures.
  • Enters patient information into the database.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, coworkers, and physicians.
  • Participates in continuing education and training for new procedures.
  • Must obtain Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License prior to start date.
  • Position is temporary with varying shifts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and completion of an approved Nuclear Medicine Program.
  • Certification as Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT and/or NMTCB).
  • CT Advanced Certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
  • Preferred: 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare setting.
  • Must have proof of legal authority to work in the USA.
  • Annual TB Screening and background checks required.
