Overview

The Graduate Assistant will support the planning and coordination of workshops and sessions for graduate students, focusing on academic and professional writing skills.

In Short

  • Assist in planning and coordinating workshops for graduate students.

  • Collaborate with the Office of Graduate Student Support.
  • Report to the Director of Graduate Student Support.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and collegial relationships.
  • Minimum requirement: bachelor's degree and admission to Graduate School.
  • Preferred experience in research writing and tutoring.
  • Strong writing and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Position is not eligible for benefits.

Requirements

  • Must have an earned bachelor's degree.
  • Admitted to the Graduate School at the University of Arkansas.
  • Experience with research and writing preferred.
  • Strong writing skills at the graduate level.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Background checks required.
  • Must have legal authority to work in the U.S.
  • Regular attendance is essential.
